OUR MISSION STATEMENT:
ANGELFISH OCEAN PROJECT 501c3 is a Hawaiian based immersive Ocean Charity with limited membership. This Exclusive Luxury Lifestyle Charity will feature an all female staff of Marine Biologists and was specifically created for top Fashion Models. AOP🐠 ensures Absolute Privacy for all members.
The waters off of Hawaii are the best fishing grounds in the world for GIANT PACIFIC BLUE MARLIN ! Marlin are a powerful apex predatory fish of the open ocean with an awesome combination of power, size and leaping ability when hooked.
This magnificent species is on the brink of extinction and it is for this reason that there is a need in the scientific community to satellite tag and track these amazing fish in order to understand more about their habitat, range, and spawning characteristics so we can better understand and as a result better protect these fish.
Recreational anglers, armed with cutting-edge satellite tag technology, become citizen scientists and deploy tags on the billfish they catch. These tags transmit data to researchers who learn more about billfish biology and how the fish interact with their habitat.
Understanding where these animals go and how they utilize their habitat provides invaluable data to scientists and resource managers to help ensure long-term billfish conservation. The “IGFA GREAT MARLIN RACE” has fundamentally changed the way that scientists, anglers, and policymakers understand billfish.
The IGFA Great Marlin Race, presented by Costa Sunglasses, is a research collaboration between IGFA and Stanford University and is sponsored by AFTCO, and Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's Outdoor Fund.
In order to make Angelfish Ocean Project 501c3 a reality, a group of well capitalized top models, 6 at the minimum to maybe 12 or so, would have to really get behind this charity. Understand though, and this is key, that AOP🐠 is designed to be a “HAWAIIAN BASED LUXURY LIFESTYLE CHARITY” - this point cannot be stressed enough.
The intent is for AOP🐠 to be incorporated into your lifestyle with members hopefully spending a significant part of their annual calendar “On-Island” with the featured activity being the participation in “The Great Marlin Race” through AOP🐠.
Going out for a day of Off-Shore Sportsfishing would require 4 members at a minimum, but the vessel could accommodate up to 12 members or so in addition to the other AOP🐠 Team Members. We will have our own Marlin Fishing Team and have friendly competition against the other teams participating in The Great Marlin Race. We would probably make 3 trips per week when members are “On-Island”.
